Medical Disclaimer
Last updated: June 25, 2026
Nuneo is built with love by someone who lives with diabetes — but it is a wellness and informational tool, not a medical service. Please read this carefully.
Nuneo does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical care. Always talk to your doctor, diabetes care team, or other qualified health provider about your health, your medications, and any decisions about insulin or food. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or saw in Nuneo.
Not a medical device
Nuneo is not a medical device and has not been reviewed or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any other regulator. It is intended for general wellness, education, and informational purposes only.
Not medical advice
The recipes, food suggestions, package scans, glucose displays, and any guidance Nuneo provides are general information, not personalized medical advice. Everyone's body and condition are different, and what is appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for you. Your healthcare provider knows your full situation; Nuneo does not.
Never use Nuneo for insulin or medication dosing
Nuneo will never tell you how much insulin or medication to take, and you should never make dosing decisions based on Nuneo. Insulin and medication dosing must be determined by you and your care team, using your prescribed carbohydrate ratios, correction factors, and medical judgment. Carbohydrate and nutrition figures in Nuneo (including AI estimates from package scans or descriptions) are approximations and may be inaccurate — always verify against the actual product label and your own measurements.
Glucose readings may be delayed or inaccurate
Where Nuneo shows glucose data (for example, from a connected Dexcom device or manual entries), those readings may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and should not be relied upon for urgent decisions. Always confirm with your own meter or device and your care team. Do not rely on Nuneo for real-time alerts or emergencies.
In a medical emergency — including severe high or low blood sugar — call 911 (or your local emergency number) or contact your healthcare provider immediately. Do not rely on Nuneo.
Your responsibility
