These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Nuneo (“Nuneo,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using Nuneo, you agree to these Terms. Please read them, especially the Medical Disclaimer and the Subscription & Billing sections.

1. Who can use Nuneo

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Nuneo. By using the app, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. What Nuneo is

Nuneo is a diabetes-friendly food and wellness app that offers recipes, meal planning, a dining-out guide, an AI craving assistant, nutrition estimates, package scanning, and glucose tracking (including optional connection to a compatible CGM such as Dexcom). Nuneo is for general wellness and informational purposes only.

3. Medical disclaimer

Nuneo is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for professional medical care. Never make insulin, medication, or treatment decisions based on Nuneo. Always consult your doctor or diabetes care team, and in an emergency call 911.

Nutrition figures, glucose displays, and AI-generated guidance are estimates and may be inaccurate or delayed; verify against product labels and your own devices. Your full Medical Disclaimer is available here and is incorporated into these Terms.

4. Subscription, free trial & automatic renewal

Nuneo is a paid subscription with a free trial. By starting a trial, you agree to the following billing terms:

  • Card required: a valid payment method is required to start your 14-day free trial.
  • Automatic renewal: unless you cancel before your free trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged the then-current price — currently $14/month (or $119/year if you choose the annual plan).
  • Recurring billing: your subscription renews automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly) and your payment method is charged each period until you cancel.
  • How to cancel: you can cancel any time from the billing settings in the app (Settings → Manage billing), which opens our payment processor's portal. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you cancel during a paid period, you keep access until the end of that period.
  • Refunds: except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial billing periods.
  • Price changes: we may change prices, and will give you advance notice; changes apply to your next billing period.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us promptly viaour contact form if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Nuneo — for example, by attempting to break or disrupt the service, access it unlawfully, reverse-engineer it, or use it to harm others. You will use Nuneo only for your own personal, non-commercial use.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the information and photos you put into Nuneo. You grant us a limited license to use that content as needed to operate the service for you (for example, sending a food photo to our AI provider to generate guidance, as described in our Privacy Policy).

8. Third-party services

Nuneo relies on third parties (including Dexcom, Stripe, Supabase, Anthropic, and Vercel). Your use of connected services may also be governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

Nuneo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information (including nutrition or glucose data) is accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nuneo and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any health outcomes, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Nuneo. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Nuneo harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the app or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; if we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms. You can stop using Nuneo and cancel at any time.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
